I may have posted this before but warriors are going to need this macro.
Especially if you intend to hold agro against our casters
Tip: You are a warrior, you are protection, or prot/hybrid. You have assy blues in most spots, and some OK blues in other spots. You have 490 defense so you can't be crit. You have over 10k health unbuffed. You feel like you can tank pretty good.
You are wrong.
The cloth-nukers in our guild are almost all tailors. They have access to gear that is better than T4, and on par with T5 raiding gear. They can craft this crap solo, or with a handful of heroic dungeons for nethers. They put out boggling DPS. Which means they put out boggling threat.
So how do you hold agro with your 60 dps weapon?
Code:
#show Shield Slam
/cast Shield Slam
/cast Heroic Strike
/startattack
Double-tap this to Shield Slam, and queue up an HS for your next auto-attack, and re-tap it to keep queing up HS's as long as you have rage to burn. It will show you shield slam's cooldown on the button, and light up when/if you have enough rage to Slam again.
If you don't have shield slam, replace Shield Slam with Sunder Armor, and pray. In a dual-tanking situation, the warrior with Shield Slam should be on the high-threat-kill-first mob, and the OT/no-slam should be on a later-killed mob so he has plenty of time to spam Sunder/HS.
If I have enough rage to really work it, I can often peel agro off somebody without taunting by queueing up HS's with a fast weapon. This macro makes it EZ to do so.
I also use a macro for Thunderclap, use the ? icon for the macro
Code:
/castsequence [reset=4] Thunder Clap, Demoralizing Shout
With those two macros you recover 2 of the 12 spots on your hotbar for everything else you need to do.
Oh, and Improved TC generates more threat than Sunder Armor, and buys time for big heals to land. It should always be up.
