Looking over what I have compared to what is available in LK, it looks like blue instance gear will start to be equivalent to my ZA gear in the 75-78 range. I would guesstimate (holy crap, guesstimate is in the Chrome spelling dictionary!) gear replacement in the following level ranges:

Current gear -- replacement range (blues first range, greens second)
Instance blues -- 70, 70-73
T4 (KZ, S1/S2) -- 72-75, 75-78
T5 (ZA, SSC/TK, S2/S3) -- 75-78, 80
T6 (BT/MH, S3/S4) -- 78-80, never

Just to get some kind of idea on how long your gear will last, and hence how hard to work on getting stuff.

That may be true for weapons, but the stats on armor seem to match up decently close on what I laid out (armor value, stamina, etc)

When I ran Halls of Stone on Tocho, I got two blue drops that if I had ever made the level (they were level 78 items) I would instanly have replaced the gear Tocho had, both MH drops, and other than the set bonus, blew away T6 gear for a resto shaman. That said, they were the only replacments I had for my restro set. I did replace a few pieces of my solo (melee) set in leveling to just shy of 75.

Thanks for this info. I've been wondering about this.
